Sanju box office collection Day 10: Ranbir's film is unstoppable

After crossing the Rs 200-crore mark within a week of its release, Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju is now galloping towards the Rs 300-crore club. Rajkumar Hirani's directorial venture is unstoppable at the box office.

The biopic on the life of Bollywood's original wild child Sanjay Dutt has got a thumbs up from fans. If Ranbir's stellar performance has been lauded, Hirani fans can't stop raving about the film's subject.

With no major release last Friday, Sanju is continuing its winning streak at the ticket windows. It has been 10 days since Ranbir's film hit the screens, but even now, the film is running to packed houses.

Sanju has earned Rs 28.05 crore on Sunday, thus taking the total to Rs 265.48 crore.

Here is the day-to-day breakdown of Sanju's box office collection:

Day 1 - Friday (June 29): Rs 34.75 crore
Day 2 - Saturday (June 30): Rs 38.6 crore
Day 3 - Sunday (July 1): Rs 46.71 crore

New lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have decided to get married?

The ‘Brahmastra’ pair are not just into dating, but surely plan to take it to the next level in two year's time.

And the best part is, there have been interesting developments in the relationship over the past few weeks.

It all started with the couple being snapped together a few times, following which rumours went on an overdrive.

This was followed by Alia gushing over Ranbir in her interviews, after which the two made it official by posing together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding.

Ranbir confirming the news and Alia going out for dinner with his family were just the final stamps of approval on the relationship.

And now a latest report claims that the couple isn’t just into dating, but are surely planning to take it to the next level.

The pair has decided to get married and 2020 will most likely be the year they will tie the knot, according to BollywoodLife.

“Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won’t happen before 2020,” a source told the portal.

Well, if it happens, Alia will be just 27 then, being the youngest A-list actress in the past few years to get married.

And Ranbir, after his much public relationships and break-ups with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, will finally rid himself of his Casanova image.

The duo have an impressive line-up of films, Ranbir with ‘Sanju’, ‘Shamshera’ and Luv Ranjan’s next, while Alia has ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Kalank’.

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan's debut Cannes journey was an eventful one :Cannes 2018

After making beautiful appearances at the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood divas- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor have returned to the Bay, after spelling their magic at the French Riviera. Along with these stunning beauties, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan also made a mark at the prestigious festival.

Mahira Khan made her Cannes debut this year and chose vibrant colours to represent her brand. The actress walked the red carpet for cosmetics giant L'Oreal Paris. To end her Cannes trip, the Raees actress wore a pastel saree with a ruffled border, black sleeveless blouse with diamonds cut on it. Hair tied in a fish-tail braid, she looked ethereal.

She captioned the picture as, "I don’t know how kids these days post so many pictures so quickly.. this is killin’ me! (in a good way, in a good way..)

Earlier, she had worn a black off-shoulder dress after the ensemble she was due to wear got stuck at the customs and didn't turn up in time. "I'm nervous," she wrote before making her red carpet debut, but her confident demeanour was a head-turner at the gala, where she and Sonam walked one after another. Mahira dedicated her representation at Cannes as an "ode to the people I have loved so much.... and have inspired me since I was a little girl. Starting from my Ama to Minaal and Rooha... down to all my girls back home in Pakistan".

Veere Di Wedding new poster: Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and gang are in a perfect touristy mood

The much-awaited flick of 2018, Veere Di Wedding starring the iconic actress Kareena Kapoor along with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania is all set to hit the screens but before that the makers have dropped a hot and happening poster of the film featuring the 'Veeres' in a perfect touristy mood.

The four best friends Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker set the temperatures soaring in customised beachwear.

This chick-flick is helmed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor.
Interestingly, Sumeet Vyas, who rose to fame with web-series Permanent Roommates will be seen as Kareena's boyfriend, Rishabh in the movie. The film is all set to hit the screens on June 1, 2018.

On a related note, Sonam turned Veere Di Wedding into a reality by tying the knot with longtime beau Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. The couple had a Sikh wedding and the Anand Karaj ceremony took place at her aunt Kavita Singh's residence, Rockdale in Mumbai. The couple's wedding was a star-studded affair which was attended by the who's who of the entertainment world.

The Kapoors and Ahujas hosted a grand reception party at The Leela, Mumbai in the evening and several B-Towners were seen in attendance. From Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif to Shilpa Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut—all dazzled and wished the newly-wed couple.

Sonam Kapoor's 'Veere Di Wedding' to clash with brother Harshvardhan's 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero'

 Harshvardhan Kapoor's 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' will now compete with his sister, Sonam K Ahuja's upcoming film 'Veere Di Wedding' on June 1.

The Vikramaditya Motwane-directed vigilante drama, which was scheduled to arrive in the cinema halls on June 25, has been rescheduled by three weeks, a release said.

According to the makers, "June 1 is a better date from a distributional point of view. It has a greater audience potential and is a safe distance away from holdover Hindi and English releases.

"The film will get better and more number of shows and June 1st as a date has a greater audience potential."

'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' traces the journey of a group of friends who set out on the path of righteousness. Over a series of thrilling incidents, their life takes a curve, leading a common man to become a superhero in the form of Bhavesh Joshi.

The film is produced by Eros International, Reliance Entertainment, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Anurag Kashyap.

'Veere Di Wedding', also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, is themed around a wedding.

Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja are getting married. Farah Khan confirms news

They tried to remain very secretive about it but the cat is finally out of the bag. Sonam Kapoor is ready to tie the knot soon with her boyfriend Anand Ahuja and we have confirmation from Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan herself.

Farah revealed the big news at a reality show. During her appearance on Entertainment Ki Raat, Farah spoke about her relationship with Anil Kapoor and how she will be choreographing some dance sequences for Sonam’s upcoming wedding. “Anil and I are very fond of each other, we call each other ‘Papaji’. He is so fond of me that I will be choreographing his daughter’s sangeet,” she said.
According to a report in Filmfare, the wedding will most likely take place on May 6 and 7. There will also be a reception in Delhi, Anand’s hometown. All the wedding events will be held in Mumbai. Earlier, it had been reported that the Kapoors had decided for destination wedding in Geneva.

According to earlier reports, Sonam and her family have already begun rehearsals for the wedding. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Sonam’s cousins and extended family have joined in as well for the pre-wedding ceremony. They will perform on her hit songs like the Veere… title track, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai”from the Fawad Khan co-starrer Khoobsurat, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo title track, and Dheere Dheere from her music video with Hrithik Roshan, among others, besides other popular wedding songs.”
