WWE announced that The Phenom will make his big comeback in New York City next month as part of the WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.
Fans thought the seven-time world champion retired last year at WrestleMania 33 after losing an emotional match to Roman Reigns.
Following the bout, the ex-WWE Champion broke character as he laid down his signature jacket, gloves and hat in the middle of the ring before saluting the crowd.
However, the 53-year-old returned at WrestleMania 34 where he destroyed John Cena in less than three minutes.
The WWE legend also competed in another match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia where he easily beat Rusev in a Casket Match.
